The Experience - Inside Flyby

The Hangar, The
Briefing Room,
The People.

A walk-through of what life at Flyby actually feels like — the daily rhythm, the facilities, and the mentors who turn cadets into crew.

The Experience

Five Spaces.
One Culture.

Flyby isn't a campus you visit — it's one you live in. From the first walk-around at dawn to the alumni hangar nights, every space is built to make professional habits unavoidable.

A Day At Flyby

Reveille at 05:30. Pre-flight walk-around as the sun comes up over the airstrip. Two sorties before lunch, ground school in the afternoon, a debrief at dusk. Days at Flyby are deliberately structured — the same rhythm a working line pilot follows.

Morning sortie 06:00 – 09:00
Ground school 10:00 – 13:00
Sim block 14:00 – 17:00
Captain-led debrief at 18:00

Simulator Experience

Our simulator lab houses an FNPT-II MCC for procedural work and partner full-motion A320 / B737 bays for type-rating sessions. Every cadet logs sim hours from week one — not just before the type rating — so muscle memory builds early.

Beyond The Classroom

Hangar nights, airshow trips, fly-outs to partner bases, and an annual Cadet Open House where alumni captains return to fly with the new batch. The bond cadets build at Flyby becomes a career-long network of First Officers and Captains.
